TESTIMONIALS

Hi Todd,

Words cannot express how thankful I am for the goaltending skills, technical and mental, that you have taught me over the years.  When I go back to the first time you coached me I recall knowing very little about goaltending.  However, I did know the obvious...STOP THE PUCK!!  The extent of goalie coaching I received before you was from anxious parents in the crowd shouting “stay out!”, “stay up!”, “cover it!”... Who knew there were so many technical skills required to become a solid goalie.  At that point in my life, playing hockey with the top female hockey players in the world was nothing but a dream.  Nonetheless, you helped to make it come true!!

I truly think the key to my success was the way you coached.  You worked with my style of play and broke down every skill required.  Working on each skill individually allowed me to perfect each before putting it all together.  You always had reasons for everything you showed me and you encouraged any questions I may have had, which often led to great goaltending discussions.

Your passion towards coaching and your attention to details promotes an excellent environment for learning and development.  The skills that you coach are up to date following the trends of today’s most successful goalies; which compliments the way goaltending has changed over the years.

It is not even fair to compare you to other goalie coaches that I have worked with.. you are in a league above the rest!

Thanks Todd!

Hi Todd,

On behalf of my son Jakob many thanks! I have been able to watch him learn from a very skilled group of staff you have assembled for the on ice portion of the "Skills Goalie School." As a first time observer of your school I can not say enough about the passion your staff have for all participants. They are able to instruct, teach and challenge each participant. From the first time goalie at a novice level to teens at the AA and AAA level to those at the semi pro level. Your enthusiasm carries through to your on ice staff and all participants are given equal opportunity to excel. I am constantly amazed at your ability to spend time with each participant and during those moments all participants give you the respect that gifted teachers deserve. I would recommend your goalie camp to the first time participant or the seasoned veteran. Keep up the great work!

Hi Todd,

Our son Alex was in week #5 at HOC this past summer. You probably remember him because he had never played hockey before and you helped us buy new equipment! Just wanted to let you know, his friends convinced him to try out for the AE team here in Stouffville and he was taken on by the team as the AP goalie! Pretty amazing! No one could tell he had not played before. This just shows how much you taught him in that one week! Alex said he knew how to do some things the other goalies didn't know how to do, because he'd been shown in the camp. So, pat yourself on the back....We've got one happy goalie. Nice job.

Todd

Thanks again for putting on such a great camp, as usual you have managed to find a group of helpers that seem to reflect your energy and fun to the future goalies. You have taken you camps to a better level each time. I can forsee a day when you have goalies on both sides of the ice as word of mouth spreads about the fun and knowledge the kids get from you camp. Your love of the game and the position shows through to the kids great job and we will be a the next one.

Thanks Scott Carr and Michael
